Group Fitness Instructors
Do you love Fitness and would love to share your passion with others? Then Fitness Concepts is looking for you.
As a member of the Group Fitness Team, you are equal parts entertainer and educator while providing the ultimate group fitness experience in every class. Plan your class before you arrive, so that the first thing you do when you come into the studio is turn up the music on the DJ Quality sound system and get ready to rock!
Set up the equipment you need, test your microphone, and "work the room" as the members come in find their spots. Learn the names of new faces and greet "regulars" as you assess the group and make all feel welcome.
Next, introduce yourself, the class, the class objective and how members can measure their intensity to achieve best results. Then, it's show time! Deliver class with high-energy music, true to the format as it is described on the schedule and format guide.
At the end of class, thank the participants, invite their feedback and welcome them back. Discuss your class profile with a new member and show her how to review the data on her heart rate monitor.
After straightening the equipment to ensure the studio looks "open-house" ready, go back into the group fitness instructor office where you stow your microphone, record your class numbers, and add your name to the list of upcoming quarterly trainings.
