We’ve all seen her.

The woman who struts effortlessly down the sidewalk, her head held high with confidence. Her hair is glistening, skin is flawless, outfit is stunning and she radiates energy with every step.

And you say under your breath, “Lucky little ......” Wouldn’t it be nice to feel THAT good about your body that you turn heads?

You’re going to hate me for saying this, but changing your body isn’t as hard as you think. True, while there are many things involved, there is just ONE skill that every woman must get really good at in order to be successful.

TRUTH: How you feel in your body affects EVERY aspect of your life. But there’s a language that every woman needs to learn in order to really succeed at it.

It’s called (prepare yourself) … mindset.

It is the MOST POWERFUL tool you have when it comes to kissing the mid-life flab goodbye.

If you’re stressed out or worried, the impact on your health is immediate—and the hormonal imbalances created are the same imbalances that make you crave certain foods and you know what that ultimately leads to.

The hard truth is that a chronically negative MINDSET can be more toxic to your health than fast food, ice cream, or any junk food you can imagine.

Spring officially begins this Friday and it’s time to pack away those heavy winter clothes and replace them with the lighter, brighter and sometimes tighter ones. It’s easy to hide extra weight during the winter because most of us are bundled up in layers of clothes. But when the spring and summer months come, it’s not so easy.

Hey, we all have fat on our bodies in places we’d rather not have it. But it’s the fat you can’t see that’s the reason you’ve got the fat you can see.

If you’ve been eating foods that are packed with artificial sweeteners, preservatives, high fructose corn syrup or agave-sweetened health foods,( like I was)there’s a good chance your liver is overloaded with excess fat, toxins and chemicals that make it impossible for your liver to do its job.

And it’s the accumulation of fat on your liver that makes it a fat storing organ, instead of what it’s meant to be -a fat burning organ.

Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) affects 90 million Americans and it sets you up for things like cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, obesity and inflammation in the body.

So how do you know you have NAFLD?

If you eat a lot of sugar and flour, if you have a little bit of belly fat, or if you crave carbs, starch, and sugar, you probably have NAFLD. If you want more concrete evidence, then you can always have a blood test done or an ultrasound.

If your test comes back abnormal, you’re in trouble and even if it does come back normal, you might not be out of the woods. That’s because a liver function test doesn’t always detect a fatty liver as well as an ultrasound.

Here’s what happens when you have a clogged liver. Fatty liver creates inflammation, which creates insulin resistance and pre-diabetes which causes your body to deposit fat not just in your liver but also all around your organs and in your belly.

I read an article by Dr. Mark Hyman who said “ We now have 12-year-old boys who’ve lived on soda for years needing liver transplants from fatty liver. That’s pretty scary, and we really need to think about what we’re doing to our children by feeding them these toxic substances.”

But your liver is an amazing organ and despite decades of neglect, it can repair itself like nothing ever happened. All you have to do is make some simple changes to your diet and the result is a healthy, strong, energized, slimmer you!

Always read the label. Did you know that most tomato sauce products have more sugar than an Oreo cookie?

Get rid of white, processed flour; that includes whole grains, because fat doesn’t cause NAFLD, sugar does.

Replace those sugar bombed foods with liver-repairing super foods like broccoli, kale, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, garlic , onions, nuts, seeds, animal protein and healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil, olive oils and fish oil

These foods flood your cells with healthy nutrients that can instantly help your liver cleanse your body of excess fat, toxins, chemicals and pollutants.

By making these simple changes you can rejuvenate your liver in as little as 13 days and you’ll love the amazing results.
